Here we will be tying the Jock nymph version. The fly is a good option when it comes to spring fishing in Iceland. The fly catches both brown trout and arctic char. Simple to tie and totally worth keeping a few in your box when go fishing.
Hook: 10 – 16 Ahrex traditional nymph hook.
Thread: 8/0 black.
Tail: Golden pheasant head feather.
Rib: Oval gold.
Body: ½ yellow floss, ½ black floss.
