Tying a Fly Called Butcher

Fly Tying Tutorial From Ívar’s Fly Workshop

Here we will be tying the famous wet fly Butcher but the pattern is close to be around 150 years old and it’s originally from England. The fly is a great option for both stream and lake fishing. The fly catches both brown trout and arctic char. Simple to tie and totally worth to keep few in your box when go fishing. I use the fly with good results here in Iceland but the Butcher fly isn’t used as much as its deserved.
