Refunds and Returns Policy

Please read our refund and return policy carefully to understand the terms and conditions for refunds, returns, and exchanges. This policy is designed to provide clarity and ensure a positive shopping experience.

 

Return/Exchange/Refund Timeline

We offer a transparent and customer-friendly return/exchange/refund timeline. Returns or exchanges are accepted within 31 days from the date of purchase. This timeframe strikes a balance between allowing you sufficient time to evaluate your
purchase and ensuring a fair policy for our business.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will email you to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 5 days.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company; it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at thetug@flyfishingwaters.com or 1-406-825-5300.

Sale items

Only regular-priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot returned or exchanged.

Non-Returnable Items

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned.

Non-returnable items:

  • Gift cards
  • Downloadable images

Exchanges / Damaged Goods

We happily replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, email us at thetug@flyfishingwaters.com and include a photo of the damaged good. If you include a clear image, there is no need to return the product, we will send a replacement right away.

Acceptable Item Conditions

To be eligible for a return or exchange, the item must be in its original condition, including all tags and packaging (if applicable). 

Refund and Shipping Charges

We understand the importance of transparent and fair refunds and shipping charges. Our policy
aims to be reasonable. 

For refunds, we offer the following options:

Replacement/Exchange: We’ll replace the item with a different size, color, or a better quality item as per your preference, subject to availability.
Money Refund: We’ll return the cost of the item to the original payment method used for the purchase.
Full Refund: If you’re not completely satisfied with your purchase, we’ll issue a full refund.
Partial Refund: In some cases, a partial refund may be provided if only part of the order is returned.
Line-Item Refund: For items that are part of a larger order, we may issue a refund for the specific item returned.
Gift Card: We can issue a gift card with the refund amount for you to use on future purchases.
Store Credit: You can choose to receive store credit, which can be used on any future purchases with us.

Shipping Returns

To return your product, you should mail your product to: 11 Snook Way, Clinton, Montana 59825.

You will be responsible for paying for your shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If your product arrived damaged, there is no need to return the product. Simply email us at thetug@flyfishingwaters.com and include a photo of the damaged item. We will send a replacement immediately.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
