Day 68 – 356 Days of Trout

Day 68 - Cullen

Cullen is a large male rainbow trout who lives in my home water of Rock Creek in Western Montana.

We'd see each other every day - co-workers, if you will. I'd photograph him, he'd show off in front of the lens.

This relationship went on for two years in late fall and winter months.

I was smitten, he was afraid. And then he was gone. Why? An angler? An osprey? I'll never know.
