Day 363 - Rainbows Under Ice

Ice drifted into the spawning grounds one May afternoon while my cameras snapped photos.

I've always been mystified by the underwater world when covered with ice, except when I can't find my cameras.

I raced to the shore as the windswept ice sheet blew in. Frantically, I chopped at the foot-thick, rotting ice sheet until all seven cameras were found.

I returned home to check out the super-cool images and calm my frayed nerves with a strong gin and tonic.
