Day 321 - Every Which Way

Rainbow trout make their way to the edge of the ice in early April.

It will be a month before the ice clears this mountain lake in Montana.

The fish facing right in the photo show off their colors in the morning sunlight while the trout facing forward remain in the shadows.

I have to believe that the sun feels good after a long winter under the ice.
