Day 29 - At The Edge of Ice

I imagine trout are attracted to the ice's edge for many reasons: oxygenation, bug life, and sunlight.

After a long winter in the dark depths, a little sunshine and fresh air must feel wonderful. 

Last season's vegetation and algae will be swept away when the ice disappears, and the wave action cleans the waters.
