Day 287 - In Hot Pursuit

A female rainbow trout scurries away from another who's protecting her redd.

Often, a lazy female will try and assume another's redd. 

No cleaning, no digging; just lay your eggs on top of another's and be done with it.

Did I say lazy? I mean smart!
