Day 25 – 356 Days of Trout

Day 25 - Three Amigos

That's a man sandwich right there!

A large male slides between two sizeable female brook trout, ready to spawn.

You'll note the humped back and jaw kype on the male in the middle, along with a white cottony substance caused by the stresses of spawning. He is probably very successful at spreading his badass genes!
