Day 246 - Upstream Struggle

Brook trout swim side by side in the current to find their way upstream to the spawning beds.

The journey is dangerous as the tributary is small, and the fish are preyed upon by the resident bald and golden eagle.

Only the daring and brave will reproduce in the fall.
