Day 220 - Saffron's World

This is Saffron. She lived in my home waters of Rock Creek.

I photographed her for 5 seasons. I had no idea trout lived that long.

She was a big girl when I met her. 

A beautiful Westslope Cutthroat, she made a slow pool her home before the river changed course.

I'd like to think she's still out there somewhere.
