TROUT AT A CROSSROADS

Photographed in mid-winter in Rock Creek, the trout appear suspended in the frigid waters.

A rainbow trout looks to the left while a cutthroat trout, I call Saffron, looks into the decaying root ball.

Many trout live in and near this root ball which a Facebook follower named the “Hidey-Hole”.
