Day 154 – 356 Days of Trout

Day 154 - Killers Of Spring Creek

3 Mergansers raid the redds of spawning rainbow trout in a small spring creek in Montana.

They feast on the freshly laid eggs in the shallow stream.

How many can they eat during a raid? Hundreds if not thousands of eggs.
