Day 1 – 356 Days of Trout

HAMBONE

In one of my very first images, Hambone was a feisty brook trout who enjoyed showing off for the camera. He charged through skinny water, leaving a wake. 

Living in a side channel in my home waters of Rock Creek in Western Montana, this male brook trout earned his name by being a ham who loved to show off!
