Spring Spawners is a Tiny Tributary

Huge rainbow trout fight mating rights and space in this small tributary to a lake in Southwest Montana. Closed to fishing until July 1, this protected area is a fly fisherman’s dream.

In season, and a little further into the lake, anglers sight fish to these huge rainbows during the damselfly hatch.
