About Í-var Örn Hauksson

Hello there, My name is Ívar Örn Hauksson and I'm an Icelandic enthusiast about fly fishing and fly tying. I lived almost my whole life in Iceland and have been doing flyfishing and fly tying since I was about 10 years old. I learned and was narrated by two of the most talented fly tiers in the country, Jón Sigurðsson and Jón Pedersen. I am a lawyer by education and an Ahrex Pro Team member. The goal with my new channel is to preserve Icelandic flies and related knowledge as well as guidance. The channel also opens up the world of Icelandic fly tying for beginners in Iceland and abroad. The Ívar's Fly Workshop channel will post new material every Tuesday and Saturday until the spring of 2021. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to comment on the videos.
